VirusTotal (owned by Google) submits a URL or file to every major AV engine in parallel and returns a single aggregated verdict. It's the de-facto starting point for any IR investigation.

For URLs, VT also stores historical scan data, screenshots, and community comments — useful for triaging whether a domain has been flagged before.
